- All ZÅ members should show respect toward all players, members, clans, admins and site users. This is expected behaviour on all Halo-related servers and websites, Xfire/IM, and other public places, both when wearing ZÅ tags and when not.
- All ZÅ server rules must be followed.
- Absolutely no use of any kind of cheat/hack for Halo. This includes, but is not limited to: AimBots, SightJackers, Auto-Shooters, Third Person Views, Wireframes, Glass Walls, Sticky Walls, Speed Enhancers, or DevTrainer (it's okay if you're hosting but is not for use in the official servers). If your use of the above is reported there will be a investigation. Should any evidence be found the leaders will decide your (grim) fate.
- All ZÅ Members should wear ZÅ tags with pride! You must use your ZÅ tags while playing on ZÅ Servers.
- ZÅ allows multiclanning as of 29th May 2012. However, ZÅ activity levels remain at a high standard and being busy with other clans is not a valid excuse for inactivity. You must include a list of other clans that you are in, both in your ZÅ site signature and on the ZÅ Multiclanning Thread.
- ZÅ has a fairly non-restrictive policy on swearing but please refrain from fouling up the site with excessive swearing and obscenity. Players are free to use 'foul' language in the servers in moderation; too much swearing may result in a warning/kick/ban. No foul language is allowed when directed at another player or group. Racist, homophobic and derogatory terms are not allowed. Innappropriate topics should be limited. Please do not spam the chat in-game; use Xfire for lengthy conversations.
- Feel free to invite other Halo players to join our clan but under no circumstances are you to recruit on another server without the permission of the server/clan owner or leaders. Recruiting for other clans on our server is strictly prohibited.
- When playing in non-ZÅ servers it is required that all ZÅ members follow the rules of that server/clan as well as ZÅ rules, both when wearing ZÅ tags and when not.
- All ZÅ Members must be active on both the site and servers.
- All ZÅ Members must have Xfire and be part of the ZÅ Xfire community.
- All ZÅ Members must have an active zaclan.org account.
- If you share a computer with anyone that plays Halo he/she must also join ZÅ.
- Intraclan promotions are based on merit and not on seniority so activity level must be high and behaviour must meet ZÅ standards.
- Do not discuss information from clan-sensitive posts with those not in ZÅ.
Penalties for breaking clan rules:
- Warning/probation (time period varies depending on the offense).
- Demotion/kick from clan (you may rejoin clan at a later date).
- Ban from clan/site.
For less severe offenses we use a 3 strike system:
1. Warning with PM
2. Strike 1, possible demotion
3. Strike 2, possible demotion
4. Strike 3, kicked from clan, possible ban on site/server.
Note that trial members may not get 3 strikes.
For admin abuse, we also use a 3 strike system:
1. Warning with PM
2. Strike 1, possible demotion
3. Strike 2, possible demotion, possible loss of RCON, possible strike against membership
4. Strike 3, loss of Rcon, possible strike against membership
Rules and penalties may change without warning. Penalties may vary depening on the situation and previous offenses.
