I would pay for a halo server but I already pay for the teamspeak and also I don't see the point in funding a server for a game I don't play.

Well Vlexis feel free to pay $13 a month for a 16 person server. That's what they cost on gameservers. Do you have the knowledge to run and maintain the scripts?

If Halo is dead, then why are people still playing it? Just because a lot less people play a game than there used to be doesn't make the game dead, unless absolutely no one's playing it.
