Well, I know this was proposed before, and I argued to the death about it, but now I think it needs proposed again. I think heavy weapons need to go. I know this didn't go well the first time, but still. Here are my reasons
1) They make the game last WAY too long.
2) Everybody fights about it if they don't get it.
3) leads to arguments.
4) Now that ALL spots (that are not jet packed) are allowed, they can get the flame thrower and a rocket launcher and camp in BG tree or Gephy wires and stay there the entire time. If an admin is not present, nothing can be done.
5) They are annoying.
Those are my reasons. I say either get rid of certain camping spots, or get rid of heavy weapons. Thanks for reading. |

im with u on this one numpty. they are horrible things and there is nothing worse than people at the top of the wires or tree or something with a fuel rod. So i say yes to getting rid of them, either that or leave them in but make them really weak so they do no more damage than say the needler. |

idk, flames really aren't that big a problem. rockets get annoying only if the person's last man/ trying to jetpack...
but rods need to go ._.

We lose a lot of players we if limited the guns as well. Camping spots shouldn't be a problem with the 4 min nuke. And without admins comes a lot of other problems then just camping spots. Rude behavior, botting, and other stuff like that happens as well so it's not like it's the only thing that is making the game bad. And plus not a lot of people are skilled and would rather like to have FUN by using a heavy weapon. Dying is part of the gametype of zombeis, so if it's by a heavy weapon for a person to have fun killing loads of zombies then so be it.

** Side note ** - You know we can move the weapons around... maybe Slim & I could move the Heavys around the map so it be harder to get..

Rockets are the worst weapon. They are more powerful than the FRG, and you get 600 of them as the last man. Granted you only get 2 shots till u have to reload, if you are camping in a tree, or on the wires, it doesnt matter how fast your reload time is. The flame thrower is a bad weapon. You can take out an entire hoard of zombies in like 2 seconds. I know we would loose a few people on our servers, but when an admin is not there, the games will never end. Heavy weapons, even tho I like them, need to go. People will camp DC ledge with a FRG and a sniper, and the game will never end. EVER. The only people who need heavy weapons are those who run around the map. |

I say just take out rockets. And move the rest of the heavies around, I don't really see the flame being a major problem though. IMO |

flame's hilarious, most the time you end up killing yourself...
idk, tbh rockets as last man is kinda a reward...i mean, it's basically surviving a game with only one wep, seeing as rocket ammo is so limited.
hmm, mebbe prolong the spawn time of the heavies even more?  especially frg >:[

That's pretty stupid. So what your saying is getting rid all the weapons everyone likes just becuase a certain ''anti-noob'' group doenst approve of them? That is why there is admins to nuke of a person is camping long enuff with a heavy wepon in a hard to reach spots. If there is no admin , then there is no admin, nothing you can do about that. The game is meant to survive not how much kills you can get without a nooby wepon. |

Asking for the opinion of the public is just a matter of courtesy. In the end, the server owner gets the final say. Whether the owner cares about the response, though, is a different matter. |

Guys, with th amount of restrictions we have, getting rid of heavy weapons would go to far, they may get annoying but if there is a 4 min left nuke which is automated then that should help alot. I honestly think it would be a bad idea.

take away the ammo bonus at the end of game, no 600 rounds no endless camping.
because I love sitting through a 20 minute game with on man left of gephy wires, it makes me want to play more often and makes the game fun for all players and makes me so happy it AWESOME! everyone should try it! Maybe I should start camping on everysingle map every single round just because I can! Screw the game make it fun for me!

@ Devase, an automated 4 min nuke would make EVERYONE leave our servers and never come back. Heck, I wouldn't even play there any more. That would be 5 nukes a game. And if the nukes arent needed, nothing will happen, or everyone will get pissed and rage.
@ Wu, GREAT IDEA!! Maybe just take away the extra ammo for heavy weapons. Then they still only get 10 shots, not 600.
@ Smiley, my thoughts exactly. We have maps like DC and gephy where people RQ because they dont want to be a zombie because everyone is camping with snipers and FRG. Take away heavy weapons, and the game will be funner and easier for the zombies. |
