Junior Member Posts: 24 Joined: 04.08.11	I think that we should make it so the zombie servers can do one of the following: 1) When a player joins server, it says to that player: "Please type in @rules to see the rules!" However, rather than spamming the server for that player, it can say each rule 5 to 10 seconds apart. Also, seeing how long the rules are, I would suggest numbering the rules and cutting some fat out of it, that way it would be easier to see the rules and not want to read the rules. 2)The server can say the rules at different moments to everybody in the server. Each time it is a different rule. For example, A game starts, 5 minutes after the game starts, the server says something similar to "No camping in spots that requires stacking and/or jetpacking." And 5 minutes after that, it says "No using racial or sexual slurs." I think this would be a good idea, especially the second one because the first one requires people to actually type which would stop them from playing the game, and they would need to read. I also think this would be good because if someone is banned for a rule, and they come to the site to apply, the admin who banned the person can say that the player shouldve read the rules! Numpty Posts: 1045 Joined: 06.04.11	These are good ideas. The problem is, Halo players aren't intelligent enough to understand that they're supposed to type @rules for rules. Even if you make the server automatically state rules, most players will just ignore it. The closest thing to a response you'll get is a player asking about something that could have been answered if he had paid attention to the rules. In most cases players just play on, happily oblivious of the rules. /rant

I stop to type something or get ammo and it starts doing the 'you are not allowed to camp, please move' thing. Maybe its a little too sensitive? I've been in servers with the chat screening and it seems to work pretty well, though the trolls seem to try really hard to find ways around it....

Junior Member Posts: 26 Joined: 03.08.11	All you have to do is put a ''.'' at the end of which word is banned from the list. Or misspell it on purpose. Ex. ''Bitch'' is now "Bitch." or "Bitchh". It's not really that hard to find away around the chat filter. As for the @rules, no one actually does it. And when people who break rules are questioned, they say they dont know rules. And when admins say press @rules they say they dont know how. The admins then have to type by hand the rules. How do I know this? Hours of seeing trolls in CnR servers.
