So, I'm assuming about half this clan has Netflix so post what is good. Since there is alot to choose from and sometimes, if you share an account with people (Like me ) I share it with my family. They don't always get the ratings right for you. Carnage and I have similar taste in tv shows and movies. But I'll give a shot to anything posted here. Unless it turns out to be My Little Pony or some shit.
Background: I mainly like Action/Thriller and Comedy. I know weird mix but hey...
1) Game of Thrones-This will be my only TV show ever that I post, that is not on Netflix. I had to post it, because it just is that good. It's pretty much a movie of Skyrim. If you haven't seen it yet, I'd definately recommend checking it out. 10/10
2) Chuck- Probably my favorite show ever before it got cancelled. The only TV Show I ever followed (Actually waited till it was on and looked forward to it every week) on TV. About a Nerd who becomes a spy, with a series of unfortunate events. 9/10 I think I took off a point since I've seen the entire series 4 times.
3) Hell on Wheels-Great show, hadn't even heard of it till now. I grew up watching Bonanza and other things as a kid, so it's pretty awesome that they are still making westerners. A bit graphic, but then again meh. I stayed up all night (tonight) watching the first season 9/10
4) How I Met Your Mother-Meh show, but it has some funny parts 7/10 for me.
5) Dexter was aight. Boring at parts, but it always made up for it in some way. Definately less than 8 but more than 6. So 7/10 for that I guess.
6) Trailer Park Boys-9/10 funny as hell. But I'm probably biased since most of my family lives in Canada. I got introduced to it before Southpark. My Dad got mad at his brother because of it.
7) Arrow- is also good.
8) Blue Mountain State-College?
9) Jericho-Fallout after Nuclear attack on 'Murica?
Some that I didn't mention because I figure everyone has seen it already: White Collar, Psych
Movies:
1) Boondock Saints (Classic)
2) The Recruit
3) Gladiatior
4) Death Race 1+2 (Have to be in the mood though)
3) Zodiac
Hmm I watch a lot of Netflix stuff and I also have Amazon Prime Video so I watch stuff on there if its not on Netflix. There are a lot of shows that I like but for sake of brevity I will name just a few. I also will not repeat the listings of Dudeman with my added reviews but I also like his numbers 1,2,5 and 7.
1. House of Cards - This is a Netflix original series but it is really good imo. Netflix has really done a good job in their casting. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are terrific actors who portray a power-hungry political couple with lofty goal of attaining the ultimate seat in the country, the presidency. 10/10
2. Weeds - I know that someone people are really against marijuana and all that (I actually have never smoked pot believe it or not and have no plans to) but this riveting show based around a womans struggle to support her family in the wake of her husband's sudden and early-life death will leave you on the edge of your seat wanting more...it's addictive. 9/10
3. Lost - A show from the early 2000's about a group of airline passengers that crash land on a remote and mystical island. It follows their struggle to survive against the odds and their desire to make it home. 9/10
4. Alias - A show about a CIA agent who discovers that things are not what they seem as she tries to take down crime lords and protect the country from terrorists both domestic and abroad. 8/10 P.S. Jennifer Garner is smokin'
5. Nikita - Similar to Alias but more focused on the destruction of the evil organization that has once passed itself off as a super secret branch of the CIA. 8/10
6. The Walking Dead - I assume that most of y'all watch this show but I figure I would throw it in here for confirmation that I also enjoy this series. 9/10
7. Mad Men - Great show about the operations of a 1960's ad firm in bustling Manhattan. I will say its a little slow at first but once you get into it, it gets better. 7.5/10
8. Longmire - About a small town modern day cowboy sheriff that faces troubles from local Native Americans and other crazies. 8/10
9. Revenge - A show about a girl whose father was ripped away from her based on false testimony about his involvement in a terrorist plot to bomb a loaded airliner. The girl, Emily, all grown up, returns to her childhood home to seek revenge on those that helped to imprison her father and later have him murdered.
10. The Devil Wears Prada - This is one of my most favorite movies. It is actually really a strange pick considering my taste in other shows but whatever. I love Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway complements her well in this drama about a New York Fashion magazine mogul. The movie is actually based on a true story written by a personal assistant for Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue Magazine.
I have seen so many movies/shows in my life that is actually kind of pathetic and these 10 are most definitely not necessarily representative of my abosolute favorites. They are mostly what was popped up on my Netflix past watched list .
