Yesterday my svchost.exe started bugging out or something. I can barely load stuff on google (and also stuff like steam store/forums and skype home) and its starting to get on my nerves. It takes about 6 or 7 reloads to do a single google search.
I've been trying stuff that threads on microsoft forums say, but none of it seems to be working. someone halp :c
EDIT: Also images are loading really weird, either loading half way and then turning into rainbow pixels or being like negative colors. I've done multiple virus scans and nothing gets picked up. I'm thinking of doing a scan in safe-mode to see if that makes a difference.
EDITEDIT: If safe-mode scan doesn't pick up anything, im just gonna do a system restore, if that doesn't work. I'm gonna cut my eyes out and light myself on fire in the name of potato.

svchost.exe could mean a lot of processes, did you by any chance end it in task manager?it does affect many things, the only thing that it affects me on my computer is that the sound cuts off and stops working. Usually a computer restart can fix this,if it doesnt,go ahead and do a system restore. That error isnt that critical and that i know of,it usually isnt related to spyware or any of that cute stuff

Try Safe-Mode with Networking. If you can get it working properly in safe mode then something else is throwing the problem and svhost is just responding to this.
Most of the time when I come across an svhost problem I head straight to windows updates. Noticed that Windows updates seems to be a big problem with this certain process.
