I added $60 fund to my Steam account and bought some Valve Skin Package for around $2.50 and a key to open the package for an extra $2.00. You have to have those 2 sets of items in order to open the package for a new weapon skin. And once you've opened it, it gambles to a point where if you get lucky, you would get one of these sexy looking rare skins which can be sold in Steam Marketplace for $30+. If unlucky, then you will get those shitty ones where it lands to them most often such as AUG-Wings, SG-Violet, and those other bad guns with their horrible skins which are worth like 30 cents. So I've opened over 15 packages and out of the 15, I've managed to hit on the lucky skins 4 times with USP-S StatTrak Dark Water skin, MP7 Skulls StatTrak Dark Water skin, Glock-18 Dragon Tattoo skin, and last but not least, the awesome AWP Lightning Strike skin. Was it worth gambling for?
AWP skin pretty legit sexy. Is it possible to just purchase the skins seperately?thats a lot of money for game add ons :/ nice hit though

After matches you can randomly receive drops that may be the boxes to open for skins or you can get straight up random weapon skins to use depending on the drop.

But are you sure they would be the skins that you pay and gamble for or the in-game ones are different looking + most of them would fall into the useless and bad type of skins on the gambling. Like for the MP7, there are actually 4 types, they are all the same Skulls designed one, but one is called Minimal Wear where it kinda looks like a plain MP7 skinned, another is called Field-Tested which is the most valueless one since you can see bits of dirt added to the weapon, then there's Factory-Brand which looks all brand newish and last but not least, the StatTrak Dark Water edition which is the most rarest out of the 4 types as from what people would say too. When I searched in MarketPlace for StatTrak skins for certain weapons, people would auction those for $30+. As for bigger and stronger guns such as the AK-47, M4A4, M4A1 S-Tac, or the AWP, they only have one single skin for each and those are the hardest to land on.

There are different skins for different maps and yea the boxes that get dropped in game are the same boxes you can purchase pretty sure. I've gotten 2 skins and a box so far on random drops but havent opened the box cause u still gotta purchase a key lol

Steam normally sells the key for like $2.50. But if you look at the Marketplace and buy it from others, they usually sell it for $2.00 - $2.02 at the least lowest price. And also as for the packages, they cost $3.00, but people normally sell them from $2.20 - $2.60. And if you're lucky, you would get any StatTrak DarkWater skin for SMGs and Pistols, but unlucky would have the plain skins such as Field-Tested, Minimal Wear, and Factory-Brand. As for rifles like M4A1, AK-47, M4A4, AWP, Scar-20, they have their own one set of rare skin, but it's very rare and need luck to land on them.
