 Hey guys, so I'm looking into purchasing a new acoustic-electric guitar. Nothing fancy like a Taylor haha. Just a decent preferably grand concert style guitar. Gotta be under $200 :/ My wallet is empty haha.

 If you have some idea what you are looking for I would suggest craigslist. At least go into your local music store and ask the guitar tech for suggestions, what would be best for what ever your playing style and musical tastes are.

Also at Sarge I too own a strat, wonderful guitar.

Also, yes, strats are very good. Not a whole lot of help when he's buying an acousto-electico-semi-eclectic or whatever.

 ya just finished it two days ago actually. Still have some tweaks to work out, have to do some fret leveling and saddle adjustment.

 Neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan Phat Cat, it's a humbucker size P90, so if i ever put a hum in the neck position the rout is the right size.
Bridge Pickup Seymour Duncan Pearly gates, Its a semi hot PAF humbucker.

 No way, as it's the first guitar I've built it is lacking playability. Especially through the neck. Don't get me wrong the tone is epic, especially from that neck pickup. But the neck feels like a baseball bat, I have plans to refine it, which would be no problem, but I want to play it a while first. I guess I shouldn't be too hard on myself, shaping necks is hard lol and I'll only do better next time. Smile
