I like cooking and thought it would be a good idea to share some recipes of your favorite foods. Some of the recipes I use are homemade and some are taken from books and internet sources.
Apple Cinnamon Granola

To cook: Preheat oven to 250F and grease two baking sheets with oil. Blend the oats, apple, coconut, cinnamon, sweetener, vanilla, and salt. Transfer to a large mixing bowl and add the remaining ingredients an mix thoroughly. Spread the mixture in a thin layer on the baking sheet and bake for 2 to 4 hrs. Tilapia with Quinoa
1/2 cup of rice, 1/2 cup quinoa, 1/2 cup black beans, small can of corn, 1 tilapia. 1/4 green pepper, 1/4 red pepper, 1/4 orange pepper, 1/4 onion, peanut oil, for spices I add cumin, onion powder, and old bay seasoning.
To cook: Bring 1 cup water to boil add in quinoa. Quinoa take about 15 to 20min to cook. Add in rice with about 12 minutes to go on the quinoa and let them cook together. Put the peanut oil in a pan and get it heated up. Cut up the peppers and onion and let them simmer. I use pre-cooked black beans. put the corn and pre-cooked black beans with the peppers and onions. Once the rice and quinoa are done cooking add them to the peppers, onions, beans, and corn and let them cook together. Add in all your spices and let them simmer on low for 5 to 10 minutes. Tilapia can be either baked in the oven or fried, whichever you prefer.
"Luceo Non Uro" means I Shine, not Burn
Porridge:
As many cups of oats as you wish (small cups, not sure what measurement they are. I just use some small plastic cups)
Twice as much water as the amount of oats you used
Half a teaspoon of salt per two cups of oats
Heat until boiling
Once boiling, turn heat down to low setting, leave for 10 minutes.
Yeah, my favourite breakfast is porridge.
I know some Americans might be confused by the salt. I assure you, it makes porridge very nice. Although I suppose this might be one of those things like you weirdos not liking burnt toast. :/
Oh and remember to add cream and sugar once prepared.
I might post a pudding recipe later. :/
I don't do much cooking though so I don't know too many recipes
