 Vulture, I don't think NYPD are the toughest cops. I live in a place where Border wars and drug crossing is an every day occurrence. I think cops in border towns are the toughest.

 That's a tough debate. Take away something that the police use to protect the lives of others or make them follow the rules like everyone else (like it should be).

I want to say give them there guns back, but also feel that they shouldn't be exempt from the law.

The fact that legislators didn't get a chance to thoroughly read the proposal is ridiculous. They also shouldn't be banned from having guns on school grounds. I feel that every school should have an armed officer on their campus. The NRA made this proposal after the shooting in Connecticut, but the politicians said it was an implausible proposal costing to much money to set in place. We have armed officers in many other public places, but they are not willing to spend the money on protecting our children.

Hell yeah NYPD police are the toughest in the USA. One of my older friends is a federal agent that works mostly in NY. He told me every time they bust in a drug house, they have to kill everyone with their guns because the bad guys are more heavily armed than hem, so he has to take the them all out in split seconds, just like they did to Osama bin Laden.
