 So in an attempt to get rcon to work, i uninstalled halo. But now the damn thing wont install. Something about map. b40 or something like that. I will attempt to bring more information on a later post. Now all i need is advice on how to reinstall halo. Normally i'd just create a new file. I did that, and now it doesnt work either.. please help

 b40 is a campaign map. If it's not installing because of that file it probably means your CD has been permanently damaged (scratched) so as to make the data on it unreadable. Use an ISO to install.


Edit: Unless you're referring to it being unable to start because b40 is corrupted. In that case just get a friend to send you b40.

 I had a problem where my Bloodgulch map would break every time I opened halo. Even if people sent me fresh .map files

Solved it by creating a new user account on computer and installing halo there

So if your b40 keeps breaking, maybe try installing on another account? worked for me anyways.

 Had that problem on my cousins laptop,had no idea how to fix it,but i moved on to his desktop.Try doing what sunny said,that might work Smile

 Well if you have a CD-Key u wont have to worry about anything.
