k my cousin and i were debating which branch of the american military was better, i said marine corps and my cousin said air force. perhaps this poll will set him straight |

Any branch would be an excellent choice. It really depends on what one's personal preference is. If you want to be on the front lines, I would definitely say the Marines. If you like being on the ocean, go for the Navy. Things like that.

I think all branches take really much determination, heart, and dedication. Though, IMO, I think either the Army, or Navy are pretty much the top 2 most physically demanding of the 4 branches. My uncle was in the Army, and will tell me they had to walk miles, and miles with 20+ pounts of equipment, and thier shattered boots would give them blisters all over their feet. And that's just the 2-3 month training program. But during the program he '' hurt his back'' in one of the days of camp. It's probally all BS, becuase I know him very well and he's one of those losers you know what I'm saying. Those kind of people who quit when the going get's tough.
Also, one of my football coaches had an ex navy seal come visit us, and during what of his speeches, he said they would make them go in a icy, cold pool , with thier feet tied up together with a rope, and they had to carry a 10lbs weight and swim back and forth 10 times. Then , they were taken 25 miles deep in the ocean, and dropped off and had to swim all the way back to land, WITH a partner tied to each other's arms, and leg, So if your partner gave out, you were in pretty deep shit. One of the most things I would remember is when my coach asked him what he did for fun, and he replied, they like to go about 30 miles deep in the ocean, and swim back to land , carrying a knife in thier mouth, in case they get attacked by sharks.
