hey everyone i was just wondering how a computer needs to be run to properly to play halo. I know little about computers and i bought my current computer back in december new its an Hp. I havent changed any of the settings or anything really on it i have xfire downloaded though. Are thier any computer settings or things like that that should be changed to run halo smoother. Thanks for the help guys! |

uhh if you don't care about graphics then you can put -useff in the target in properties similar to how you put -console in it as well. This increased my frame rate from 9 to about 30-40. and you can see invis better

thanks for the help googly but do u mean i should erase what is in the properties now and type in -useff. and how do i put the console part in as well? im srry but im not really computer smart. |

Haha nahh im not either. Well basically in your properties it'll be like "desktop/something/something/something/halo" if i remember so what you want to do is this: When you see this ( "desktop/something/something/something/halo" ) you want to add the -useff like so
"desktop/something/something/something/halo" -useff
Basically just add a space after the "" and -useff.

very noticeable, basically it's like a triple downgrade from the lowest graphics but halo is so bad anyways it's ok haha

wow googly i tried it i think its an actual simiulation of how MasterChief would see if he was high lol all those colored squares radomly floating and such. But thier is problems with it such as on some maps my sights disapper and u have to memorize your ammo lol still thought it is somewhat helpful |

what does -console do exactly? i tried -useff

I use this target: "C rogram FilesMicrosoft GamesHalohalo.exe" -console -novideo -useff -window
-console is for game console, -novideo is to skip startup videos, -useff uses low graphics, and -window runs Halo in a window. I get better FPS and no text lag by running it windowed.
