All "and" does is bind the statements together, it does not make the answer yes or no. All you know from what you said that there is definitely blue pens and there is definitely pens in the drawer, but whether there is blue pens in the drawer is a mystery.

(Yeah im back after 2 nagged me to come back :l) I'm guessing no, He siad Some of Em are Blue and Some of Em are in the Draw the if some of em are blue it cant also be the ones in the drawr becasue the drawr dosnt haz blue pens? (Yeah, I'm confuzing much :P)

OK! time to settle this.
the question has it so there is a bunch of pens. some of those pens are blue.
Now some pens from that bunch of pens is put in a drawer.
when it is explained like that it is very easy to see that you cannot possibly know whether any blue pens are in the drawer...
you nub raz.

oh great... thanks 2. I thought we were friends. Devase, you are right. There is not enough information to be able to say for sure if the blue pens were in the drawer. I said yes just because i was bored. But, there REALLY IS NO WAY TO TELL. |

In the question it isn't talking about the same 1st set of pens when with the second "some pens" cause that language is too redundant. You would have used a pronoun like "they."
You suck at explaining yourself, Michelle. XD
And I understand your argument. If we substitute "some pens" for a more definite noun, like... um... lets say condoms.. it would look something like this:
If the condoms are blue and the condoms are in the drawer, then are the condoms in the drawer blue?
The answer here would be yes, of course... But you chose to use the word "some." Just because you used the identical phrase "some pens" twice, doesn't mean the pens you are referring to are identical.
