Not to gang up on Caesar, but I feel the same way.
Stop pissing me off...
I'm running out of places to hide the bodies.
"This country is going down the drain" has been said by people in every time period of every country. What people don't realise they mean by it is "things are happening in this country which I don't like."
my signature broke, here is a fox snek:

True. It is very easy for people to become [insert the country they live in]-centric because of how much their country's domestic politics dominates their lives in this day of age. Americans are especially notorious with their own American-centrism because of how powerful the country currently is. It also doesn't help that people tend to be negative because being negative is comfortable/prudent, and it beats the feeling of being overly optimistic and then falling way short (i.e. Bush's Iraq Mission Accomplish speech in 2003 and Obama's Election in 2008).

Which one are you?

The only thing it will take for America to finally fall is for China to collect on its massive debt.
America must either annex china so they dont have to pay, or go bankrupt and then sell land to other countries to pay China.
Either way, America is going downhill fast. It doesn't help that our current president is one of the worst presidents of all time.
1. According to the latest reports, America's economy is actually recovering, little question about that. There is a reason why the Republicans keeps calling out Obama for Obamacare, NSA, Libya, but remain largely silent about the economy. Of course, America's economy could still implode any minute, but it seems less and less likely than before
2. China will not wrangle it's largest consumer for debt unless it wants to commit its economic suicide.
3. Annex China --> wat??
4. It's too early to tell if Obama is above mediocre president, but I am confident to say that Obama beats out many of the president in the 19th Century so he is certainly not among the worst.
Which one are you?
Last I checked, going into MORE debt is NOT recovering. Why the HELL would you spend money you didn't have?! That's absolutely insane.
I also want to say that I hate tipping at restaurants. They make roughly 4.50 and hour plus a $4 tip ($20 meal) and a $5 tip ($30 meal) which is 13.50 an hour for waiting people in and nice cool place.
I work my ASS off in 105 degree weather in the sun, drying cars, cleaning the windows, and vacuuming a car all within 5 minutes. Roughly 7 or 8 times in an hour, for $9/hour.
I don't tip when I don't have to. This (tipping is how waiters live) is bullshit.

Yes the economy is getting better, but very slowly. And personally, I am quite scared by the stock market. They have made it so the only place you can put money is the stock market. WHY THE FUCK IS IT THE HIGHEST IN YEARS! and yet the economy is miserable? Yes, stilulation is good, but too much is bad. Whenn Ben Bernaki said, "Oh i may stop stimulating" The stock market crashed big time. We have a serious problem with just that.
I disagree with him being better then most of the presidents. What has Obama done, that has truly helped? Healthcare right now is a debacal, that was the highlight of his presidency. And the stimulus, well as Obama himself said "Those shovel ready jobs, weren't as uh shovel ready as we thought"... He hasnt done anything, his administration has been plagued with scandels. And still no answers, no one held responsible, what is this? I mean for gods sake, the IRS targeting scandel. THEY PUT A MAJOR OBAMA SUPPORTER AS THE LEAD INVESTIGATOR! Maybe abit biased dont you think? Or the fact Obama just doesnt know about anything, "I had no idea the IRS targeting was going on" "The white house, i repeat again did not have any involvement in the revising of the talking points ofr Benghazi" "I have absoulute confidence in Eric Holder, that he had no knowledge of the associated press phone tapping" (Kind of funny that it has his personal signature on it? His secretary knew, but he didnt? Same for fast and furious? Where his entire staff knew, yet he didnt?) I will you give you this. Obama was better then FDR.
I know you guys say that that happens with alot of countrys. But seriously, the economy is slowly recovering, with a stock market out of control. We have a relatively bad jobs number. Oh and dont forget the millions of people on UNEMPLOYMENT! SUCKING UP MORE MONEY! Ok people say unemployment benefits are great and all, ok i kind of agree, but my mind was changed when my neighbor lost his job. He went on unemployment. He got so much money off of unemployment, that he didnt go looking for a job because he would get the same amount of money from the job. So for 6 months, like seriously, it got to the point hwere his wife kicked him out. He was just an average joe. How many others in America are doing that? Ok there are some serious ones, but stuff is so rife with fraud. Hell, look at Detroit. The only reason we are bankrupt, is because the city refused to lower absurd pensions for workers. Retired people were getting pensions of 400000 dollars. like seriously, its all corrupted. The other probs, education. Kids in school are looking at there rights, and simply are like yea thats cool, w/e. THEY DONT UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT THEY ARE! And some day, some goddamn dictator, with looks and charms is going to come along and say, "hey vote for me cause im cool" They'll vote him in, and end of democracy..... And don't tell me that won't happen. Its happened in history, ever heard of rome?

What is happening to America? This nation is the capital of dumb teens and ignorance, but it is also the land of the free and a country I've come to respect (second to South Korea of course )
Simply put, the teens in this country aggravate me, but there are plenty of well educated men and women out here as well. Every generation has its respective problems, this generation we seem to have idiocy as ours, but thankfully it isn't like Vietnam or something.
As for the political aspect of things, I myself am a centrist but I tend to also lean a little more to the left than I am to the right. I value human freedoms more over the economy, hence the reason I am always so hesitant to pledge my support to Republican candidates since their sentiments to human rights (i.e. homosexuality, abortion, marriage, etc.) are always against the views I use to see life.
The rest is for Caesar:
I'm sure you're not a bad guy, but what you propose is... distasteful... How does killing people prove to solve anything? I feel like that is the laziest and easiest way out of a situation is to murder people for having a conflicting mind set. You also quote Stalin, but Stalin is notoriously known for doing horrendously atrocious deeds to political dissidents and to men and women he thought would destroy everything he didn't even work for.
You propose death over life, liberty, and property; the very things this country was established for. Shooting immigrants who enter illegally (I'm not for illegal immigration) but that just sounds like xenophobia to me. Shooting enemies of the Republic? What defines an "enemy"? Anyone who speaks out against the government? Sounds and awful lot like a certain German man who took power this way in the 20th century.
"A single death is a tragedy, but a million is a statistic"??? Is this supposed to validate murder? Because it really doesn't do a good job.
Maybe I am just confused, it's just that I'm always skeptical of radical changes like this, especially when proper justification for doing so isn't clear. If you were running America and I was speaking out like the way I am now, would you kill me for doing this?
A woman in the presidency would certainly be a change of some measure, but I don't think having someone with high levels of estrogen will just cure this nation. Haha.

Acutually, America isn't doing too badly relative to other countries. Europe's economy is stagnant while America's is moderately growing. Middle East is in a crisis, Africa is still impoverished (although its economy is about to boom). Even the rapidly developing countries have their issues as well. China's environment is an utter catastrophe while its massive local government debt can potentially trigger a financial collapse. India has a bunch of social issues (i.e. rape and gender inequality) as well as rampant government corruption. Even though America is dumbing down its education system, it still has the greatest universities on the planet and the brightest minds still flock to here to live.
Fun fact: More Chinese people think America is the greatest superpower than the Americans themselves (% wise).
You do realize that out of every dollar print we don't have gold to back it up? We used to have a gold standard. No America is not doing fine, with 16 trillion dollars of debt. The government shutdown last year, do you remember? I'm just surprised that America still has Credit, at least enough Credit to import goods lmao.
Also ODST, Bush was cutting taxes when we had a 13 Trillion dollar debt. How does that work?
I agree with Giants on this one, until we annex China we are screwed.
Alright ill put it this way. I was comparing america with other countries when i was using the term not too badly, but you are right that what us is doing is unsubstanible with its now 17 plus trillion d in debt. Yes im aware of that and the lasy years shutdown because that is what my business school and my former bank keeps on talking about. I can go more into detail but i think its best if we chat this out on ts or something.
