Polls, by their very nature, are opinions. Getting irritated or throwing accusations of trolling when polling data doesn't show what you expect or agree with is childish.

I'm not irritated at anyone's opinions nor am I irritated at the results of the poll. I'm just irritated at Vulture's ridiculous assumptions that Windows 8 has issues with gaming, when it clearly doesn't. And he's pretty much used that same argument over and over and over again, even though even he admitted there have only ever been issues with backwards compatibility, and even after I pointed out those issues no longer even exist.
I'd be fine with him hating on the interface or anything else which is subjective, but he's been consistently making false accusations about performance instead.

I don't care for 8, but that's what I'm using. I hate the windows key and all those weird icons that I've never used not even once. I hate all the shit that came pre installed, like the junk for xbox or microsoft live - I don't need or use anything like that. So I liked that 7 was simpler and more of the same. I don't like the wanna-be iphone look of 8 or the changes. I feel like to took too big of leap from windows traditions to wanna-be iphone looking shit. But I don't know anything about computers, and I am only a casual gamer, and I'm not even sure I know what fps, so none of that means anything to me. All I know is from the first second I used 8, I hated it, and I've used it for like over a year already I think - but I still hate it.

I use Windows 8. I quite like the interface - it's clean and fast. I've re-arranged the tiles to suit me. I also like how well keyboard shortcuts are integrated.
However, I've never used Windows 7, so can't compare and thus haven't voted.

I think it's clear that the more preferred OS is indeed Windows 7. 18 - 3 |
