Yeah, people could be kicked by the players for many reasons, some stupid. But it could also make the server more manageable and fun for players who aren't complete dicks. Some people actually go into our servers to have fun and not just to cause problems. So enabling players to kick a player who is causing problems in my opinion would make the server better. But I don't know that for sure, the only way to find out would be to try it. This of course would be kicking only, no bans or anything like that. And Slim has already talked about putting this player kick vote thing into the server, and mentioned that he would edit the script so that players who are authorized as admins on the servers could not possibly be kicked.

I say get some more admins, but don't let randoms use server commands ... probably won't go down too well. Happy to try it though.

@Raz I used ninja as an example because he is the first guest admin I thought of as you are now a ZA member again and not a guest. I actually think all the admins do an excellent job, I was merely pointing out that being a member of the clan will make someone a better admin then if they are not as they would be held to the same standards.
A cancellation voting system I believe would make abuse fairly difficult. Cancellation meaning 1 no vote and 1 yes vote = 0 total votes for kick. Then require a total of like 10 or 11 votes for kick. As most players are not dicks this would prevent most unfair kicking. Only thing is this might make actual kicks too difficult when necessary.
Or maybe I am putting to much thought into this...

Maybe like admins can kick when it is needed, but like the players can say like "rtv kick 1" and who ever is player one is up for kick. |

Well, a kicking system can be implemented although has to be very strict. And it's hard to have every admin play at least once a day. People have lives, and as stated through previous posts, people have things to do in real life. Also, people generally act better when there is no admin around to report anything. And i advise against training more admins because of past incidences with admin abuse. Not everyone is fit to be an admin and it's hard to seperate the ones who are good and the ones who will cause trouble.

Googly has a good point. We can't just let random idiots become admins. There have been many cases where we have had admins abuse their power for one reason or another. I remember a few cases with one individual where he got pissed in RL and went in the server and everyone who said anything that could be remotely considered mean, he banned. This happened 2 times because he was given 2 chances. I don't think we need that again. |

Numpty is right, but with previous uneeded fights with him he should know one of my main concerns is admins abusing powers. I promise I wouldn't abuse powers and always be fair. Allow people to have their fun, warn if it gets out of hand, kick, constant repeated use/action then I ask someone higher up like numpty,shotgun,luna who ever if I can ban them and if no1 is on then a 1-2 day ban or perma ban for any botting/hacking. I dont wanna ask to be admin, I am just trying to offer help and or solutions. besides I do play alot in the ZA server only and if I were admin I would play alot more due to it being a duty.

Devase, we know you joined to be an admin, but you're going to have to wait until admin sign ups come back around. I'm not doubting that you would make a good admin, but it won't be given to you simply because you keep saying you would be good at it. Not trying to be mean, just saying.

I know I joined with the intention of becoming an admin but I still won't ask to become one. I was simply trying to offer help to the situation. I dont expect it to be given to me simply cause or anything. I joined with the intention of becoming an admin because I noticed how there weren't admins on, Before I joined the clan I only saw 1 admin. But thats definately not the only reason. I understand what your saying though.
