 Mismagius is Ghost type though, not Dark. Fun fact: it's pre-evolution was the first Pokemon to ever be a pure Ghost type.

That's true. Mismagius is a ghost type just like Haunter. For a best dark type, I would say it would be Honchkrow. He is a dark/flying type. Pretty nifty too in online competitive battles.

 Honchkrow is cool, but I think there are other Dark types that are just as good. Like Yveltal, Mightyena and Absol.

My favorite Ghost types are Froslass, regular Gengar, and Giratina (both forms). I don't like the mega Gengar lol.
