I'm watching for bukkit to upgrade. I'll let you know when it does. You guys might catch it before me if I'm offline tho.

The first CraftBukkit for 1.4.2 developer build is now available for public consumption. If you want to help us get to our first Beta build faster, run this build on a test server. If you think you have found a bug, discuss it on the Bukkit Help forums with the community to verify the validity of your bug. Once you have managed to verify your bug, feel free to submit a bug report to our issue tracker, Leaky.
As this is our first developer build, there WILL be bugs. This build should NOT be run on a production server, however this should really go without saying. This first developer build is an actual update to 1.4.2, not a packet compatibility hack that some people claimed was a full update and mislead the community about. New additions in 1.4.2, for the most part, do not crash the clients in this build.
As a reminder: we do NOT charge anyone to use our software. If you have paid for Bukkit or CraftBukkit, you have been scammed.
Please do not ask for where to get the developer builds and do not help people get them. If you do not already know where they are located, you probably should not be running these builds.
For those of you who have decided to wait and stick it out on 1.3.2, we've released a new Recommended Build that fixes a book exploit which we recommend upgrading to.

I'm hosting a test 1.4.2 Dev server, its public and will only be up for a couple weeks. I really wanna try out the bats/witches and carrots on sticks and OMGAWD.

Cool, and i believe that bukkit has release the update, so it should just be a matter of time veggie we update. that's if they actually have release it

What is a time veggie?
Also, I can't wait to play it. I'm going to make a cave by my base and populate it with bats, and also make it a jail cell.

Pigs are my Trusted Steeds to ride into battle, especially when im using Pig Companion mod and i have an army of diamond helmeted pigs around me charging into battle!
Also, my friend has a bukkit server, and he tried out CraftBukkit for 1.4.2. It sucks. He cant even use World Edit. So, good call on the waiting

If you updated you can google "MCNostalgia" and use that program to reverse the update so you can play on the server.
