ok. well first of all Obama has never written his own speach. i was listening to when his speach when his tele-prompter broke lol...all he said was oh...oh my goodness. if you cant recover from a speech nd your own train of thought. i wouldnt want him for president. Also as was said he hass raised the debt so high in 4 years its really mind boggling. Romney at least knows where he stands on issues. Obama has said he doesnt support abortion then a few months later he says he does. hes just trying to please all the poeple. nd his Healthcare plan? my family has a healthcare plan but its like people all helping not under anyone. if we are forced to be under the same healthcare then we would have to pay so much more a month then we ever have. nd we would have the government say when we could use it how to use our healthcare nd insurance. Romney isnt the best yes. but hes better then Obama.
As for the economy, Obama did nothing to help it - sure people can blame Bush for setting up the tides, but the economic failures could have been easily avoided with proper executive action.
IMHO, Romney and Obama are cut from the same cloth. Voting for either of them will just mean more of the same crap we've seen over the past 4 decades. In reality, Nixon set forth a huge paradigm shift in politics, starting from the conservative movements (anti gay/pro christian etc) right up till his 1971 act to take the US dollar off the Gold standard.
If anyone is to blame for our current situation, it would be Nixon - forget about that watergate crap, that is relatively minor. I would vote for Ron Paul, but he's getting old and I'm sure he's not going to be running for re-election for his Congressional seat. I think I'll just sit tight and hang on to my precious metals while the economy tanks after QE5 (or whatever number they cook up in 2015).
I'm sure the next thing that the Democrats will conjure is some "anti-money" scandal that will promote some ridiculous sort of neo-capitalism. It's all just politics and rich-people games now, they are so out of touch with reality.
Ok so I'm not in the US and don't really wana get into this but I will say a few words. It's funny how a lot of you say Obama did this Obama did that or Bush did this Bush did that... I mean seriously how about you step into there place for a week and see what happens. You would of most likely done a crapper job than hes done since the time he became president... Just saying :L Also Romnley is a big joke and no I don't really like Obama either but I would still vote for him...

The debt was hardly his fault. Let's not forget that it was a Republican that declared war. Who's to say the debt wouldn't be even higher if it wasn't for Obama?

No, no, no, no, no. Romney knows where he stands? 14 years ago Romney was in support of gay rights, stem cell research, a ban on assault weapons and renewable energy, as well as being pro-choice. And you think Obama changes his mind?

Yes, if you have a disease or an injury that you can't pay for then you die. In Britain, for the last 64 years, we have had the National Health Service which is, I understand, vaguely similar to 'Obamacare.' It means that if you are injured or sick the NHS will take care of you, whether you're unemployed, elderly, no matter who you are. Does that sounds like a bad thing? Is it terrible that you have to pay a little extra to help people who have worse luck? Americans actually get off pretty lightly with taxes - the government takes much more of our money in Europe so I think you can cope with it.

Because someone is raised in a different country means that he/she is less qualified to be a leader than others? I think because he's spent time and raised in a different country can mean he is more open to the world and not boxed into a singular one. And so what if his dad was a communist? Does that mean he is one? Being a communist is not a genetic/inherited thing you know and neither is being a Black Panther.
Yes, I agree if you want something you do have to work for it. However, you generalize all poor people to be "bad". Everybody deserves to have basic necessities to life such as medical services. I'm not saying "Obamacare" should be allowed, but I'm not going to say "rich people for the win". It's because of this capitalistic dogma that this country is going to hell. The poor become poorer, the rich become richer. Is that really what you want? Is this something that a president can control when his government is based off this ideal?
I'd like to hear your thorough explanation on why Abarham Lincoln (considered by many historians one of the greatest American presidents) is bad and why you think Bush is the most amazing leader.
As for your theory on guns, I don't recall Obama ever asking for the American people to be relieved of their weaponry. The right to bear arms is in our constitution so I don't think you'll be losing any
guns any time soon.

Hat, to be honest, I think Pirates point is that Obama is so unintelligent that he is unable to write his own speech, and he doesn't even know what it was about or he would have not have had problems. Any great president has either written their own speech by themselves or had a ton of say in it.
On Romney: He's a flip-flopper and I didn't like him from the moment I saw him. He has too much charisma, he's misleading, he's a businessman, and he's a cold-blooded politician. Newt Gingritch would have been a better choice for president than him, but it's too late for that.
I'm just sick of politics as a whole and I'm sick of morons sitting by as we stew in the "Great Melting Pot" with high gas prices and tons of curry spice.

Let's say he doesn't write his own speeches. Maybe he is weak at making or writing speeches. But does that ONE weakness really effect on how to run a country?
I have problems with writing and organizing any form of essay/speeches. That doesn't mean I can't get my PhD in Business Management, which is what I'm aiming for.
Ok first off on the Gun issue, obama hasn't taken our guns away yet but he did vote to limit gun purchases of one per month and a ban on all assault weapons, Ar-15 etc used for coyote hunting too lol, but I just found out after researching Romney doesnt support the NRA either so now Im not voting at all. On lincoln, I support the Confederacy. This country would of been alot better if we won the war. For anyone who thinks that Lincoln wanted to free the slaves your wrong. The only reason he issued the emancipation proclomation: ''He issued it because on September 22, 1862, he had warned that if the states of the Confederacy, or South, didn't return to the Union, or North, by January 1, 1863, he would declare their slaves "forever free." The South refused to return to the Union, so Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation''. He did NOT want the slaves free he only did that as a threat to the south since that is how most of our money was made. Lincoln didn't actually have the power to free the slaves in the South because it was not under his control. The Emancipation Proclamation wasn't issued to help free the slaves, but to help the North win the war. Quote from lincoln "My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not to either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. Read a history book and if your too stupid use google. Just letting you know General Robert E. Lee let his slaves go way before the civil war was over. He didnt go to war to keep his slaves. lincoln and ulysseus grant kept their slaves way after the war and the emancipation. lincoln kept his for his whole life since he didnt live much longer and was assasinated. If you think he wanted to free the slaves he would of let his go lol. lincoln said if he could win the war and not let the slaves go free he would do that, but since slaves were important in the south thats what he did. He still kept his slaves and so did all the rich in the north. The emancipation only affected southern slave owners. Read a history book.
Reagan and Bush were the two greatest presidents this country ever had. So was Bush Sr. Jefferson Davis also the greatest president. He was president of the Confederacy. Just so everyone knows more blacks and indians fought for the Confederacy than the Union. The Union took your rights away and only the rich peoples opinion mattered. Free blacks in the south back then also had slaves. I know more about the civil war than anyone here. Long Live The Confederacy!! The South will rise again!!
Whoever asked why does it matter if Obama wasnt raised in the USA. This is America. Only Americans can run this country, if you dont like it too bad. Did you read Obamas book? His dad was a muslim and a communist and Obama wanted to be just like him. Obama talks about how much he hates his white mother and was ashamed of being half white. National health care is a communist and socialist idea. The USA is a capitalist government. If you don't like it then leave!!
Oh I forgot, Obama also tried to make it a law that active duty people in the military should not be able to vote haha, why would he do that if you think he should be president?!?
