Do you know what sort of plan you are on? If your on a all right one then it will be a combination of the 2 but check that out... Your speed may be capped or something... Our old one was capped at 39kbs dl (slower than dialup =/) and we thought it was our router so we went and got a new one witch didn't seem to fix it... So yea we were on a plan that was "max usage 5gb" and "capped speed @ 12-39kbs". But ya idk
