 I don't think you know much about literature. Many of the classics are both poetry and prose. Plays as well as other works (rap, for instance) combine the two. While there are plenty of works without both, many of the best works have both and prove the two styles to work beautifully together, which they should considering they are both one in the same: poetry. Also, most contemporary writers learned from the classics which regularly combine the two. Also, prose is a type of poetry, so to say that the two are unrelated is ignorant. They can be critically analyzed separate or as a unit, depending on the argument, but survey courses in literature categorize prose as "prose poetry," and only an idiot would argue with experts and writers alike.

P.S. Ever hear of Oscar Wilde? Well I studied his work when I studied Irish Authors while I went to school in Ireland, and he wrote in prose and rhymed poetry. Edgar Allen Poe? I'm studying him now in Major British Authors and he did the same. Neither exclusively wrote in just prose or rhymed lines, nor did either write just plays and dramas. So your argument about me not writing dramas or plays excluding me from the rule that the two styles can be combined is ignorant, too. Plenty of writers do it.

Furthermore, I don't comprehend grammar on a "somewhat" level. I excel at grammar.

So considering you don't recognize that I excel at grammar and have proven that you don't know very much about literature, I fail to see why anyone would support your argument, when you can't even support it yourself.
