H-o-l-y Shit.... Its been a while since ive done math...The saying its true...if you dont keep touch with it..you become...stupid. BUT i still remember how to do math so im not stupid..........yet lol. Seem like most already answered that question right so work been done for me  also LOL to second question....how you not get that lol......................

2.An antique is worth $1000 after 2 years and is predicted to be worth $1300 in 5 years. What is its predicted value in 8 years.
wall you gotta do is add 150 for every year.....How you get to that is well divide 300 from that 1300 with 2(that the year number) then you get the amount for each year. since they want to know after 8 years. answer is......
2200 lol.

.___. TBH, I don't know how to do 6 and 7. For 6, I'd use Descartes's sign rule for the positive and negative real zeros...and then have no idea how to find nonreal complex zeros D: For 7...iono >_> I'm in statistics in school right now, and there's like literally no math outside of the calculator haha.
For 8, I'd say it's false. Assuming that polynomial means that there must be more than one term, just consider some simple polynomial like 3(x^3) - x. If you do, you can factor out an x to get x(3x^2 - 1), so your roots would be 0, +/- root(1/3), which would only give you 1 nonreal zero (or so I think).
mm, think this is pretty much as far as what I remember of algebra can help you xD And my lasagna's done...so good luck on the rest O:

it would be adding 100 a year since yr 3 would be 1100 yr 4 would be 1200 and yr 5 would be 1300. then yr 6 1400 yr 7 1500 and yr 8 1600 final answer. i thought it seemed a little to simple and i was overworking the problem but above helped like a boss  |

Following your train of thought, you'd be dividing $300 by the time elapse from year 2 to year 5, which would be 3 years, not 2. Meaning you add $100 for each year elapsed since year 2, so +$600 to get to year 8...

I assume, not knowing a whole lot about maths, that he means
1.5 + 1.5 = 3
However, you can round 1.5 up to 2 so, rounded, the equation is
2 + 2 = 3.
Similarly, 2.499 recurring + 2.499 recurring (Which is essentially 2.5) = 5
but 2.499 recurring can be rounded down to 2 so, again,
2 + 2 = 5

You typically round numbers after doing the operation, hence 2 = 2. Otherwise, you're basically saying that 2 =/= 2. |
