[ZÅ] Server Boot

Okay. So I have been playing zombies and what not. I'm tired of all these overpowered mods. I want our ZÅ servers back. I have a server. It's a dual Xeon 3.2GHz machine. It's at my computer repair shop. I can run a server on it just fine if we have the server code. All I need to do is implement it into the system then allow access. Does anyone have our server's code and/or the Halo server program still around?
I am more than willing to host the server's on this machine. It's not going to require money to keep it up though donations are welcome if we are able to do this. Would anyone be up to help me? I want to see some of you around in halo along with our old server's revived.
I would also like to see our classic server back. I miss that server so much.
Also, you can add me on steam, Firesmurf . Please just let me know who you are due to people being able to change their name around constantly on that bitch.

Thank you. I also understand the server code is property of slims or codes. I'm not looking to copy the code, I'm looking to implement it. Use it as it was used before. I liked our old setup type, if we were able to keep it that would be awesome. If not, looks like I may have to get to coding myself

Full support! Life is smacking me around every step i take so i would donate, but when i can afford to. As for the server script issue, whomever has access to the script, not sure if it was you Ninja, or ODST, that had the script. Lack of permission, where could we even obtain that since sm1ley is nowhere to be found. Remember guys, this is a reboot of our servers with smileys script!

Starting the upgrades on the server now. Just updated the RAM on the machine. My mistake on the processor speed. The speed is 3.02GHz not 3.2GHz though I don't think this will cause much of a problem. Going to try and update the ethernet card in it as well as the system hard drive. Would like to get the SCSI working on it for the server much faster than IDE or SATA. Thought about RAID as well. That do you guys think?

raid wont offer much in this case. HD usage during the server run will be minimal FSB/ram speed will net the greatest gains |

Got it. I plan on trying to get myself a cheetah drive if I can. Would like to have that 10k rpm speed in the server.

The server upgrades have been finished. Working with Slim to get everything going. Have a few parts on the way but with thanksgiving it may be a little extra time before they get here. Still looking into a new network controller for the machine though the one I have should work for now. Hope to see some of you in Stats when we get it running! Then maybe some classic?!?!?!?!
