Hey all
how's everyone doing?
been a while since I've been here, oh the memories.
So the reason I'm here is cause a friend of mine wants to donate a server only if he gets a script for one of the old za servers preferably za stats.

I have copies on my computer, though they were written by slim so i would be hesitant to give them away unless he says its ok.

Yeah, looking at what I have, I have Alpha infection, the rank script, and pro stats (two different copies one zombies another ctf). I sent ye a friend request on steam Mr. Windus, and agreed the memories.... lol i was just looking through xfire logs, eghhhhh the nostalgia.

Yeah I understand. But as slim isn't a leader anymore surely MasterA or someone can allow it

Bear in mind they would probably be out-of-date with the latest Phasor update. You would therefore probably need to some serious bugfixing.
On the topic of ownership, I believe Smiley/another guy wrote (at least the bulk of) our server scripts. ZA didn't have his permission to continue using them, and he's moved on from the Halo community. Good luck finding him.
Perhaps you should write your own scripts, emulating any of the features that you desire? You may receive some guidance at the Phasor forums.

I think Java actually took over for Oxide as was working on it before his disappearance.
@Ninja Smiley didn't give ZA the scripts and IIRC, because of that Slim had to basically create a new stats server script from scratch.

Oh, apologies if that's the case. I thought we had Smiley's scripts (pretty sure I have a copy, possibly not the latest) so I assumed they were just updated to latest Phasor release when he left.

I wouldn't mind a a remake of our ZA Stats server, would we still have control on that server? I wouldn't mind co-hosting a server like you hosting and us monitoring it, i mean since we are providing the source. I miss halo, update on this so i can go buy a 1440p monitor because halo blows on 4k!

sure. As za name would most likely be in the server name we'd have to give you admin privileges.
All depends on whether my buddy will go through with it as he was the one who came up with the idea lol
