What do you think will happen to America? Do you feel its going down the drain? Or do you think Obama will do this country good, and bring new change? What do you think will happen to our youth? To be honest, I blame our educational system. Our school system runs for about 10 months with some weeks off for winter/spring break and holidays and about two months for summer break. If we had year-long school, our youth would be more educated and learn more. Look at China (not cause i'm chinese) and other countries that do year - long school. Youth in China are smart, they rarely get no days off from school and are intelligent. We (USA) are not as intelligent and we have 3/4 year long school. I think the reason, Revenge's classmates did not know what the Declaration of Independence was not because of their intellectual level but because of the education system. If the system was actually good and taught people, we would know what each document is and where/when it was signed. Instead, we only learn the information for about a year or two and forget everything and only remember what is important to ourselves. Revenge's classmates could of thought that the D.o.I was not important to them and maybe thought that something was more important such as cars? or money?. We should blame the educational system for not teaching us correctly and ineffectively.
P.S. I didn't proofread it because I'm busy doing Calc HW, so sorry if some sentences are out of order and/or don't make sense

Okay. I don't feel like it has anything with the current president because he is basically just trying to fix the last ones' mistakes. (*cough* if a woman would become the president, we would NOT have these problems... *cough*) Fact is, we're in massive debt and with all of the debt we can't afford for great education anymore. In 4th grade the U.S. students are at the top of the world scale for education. 8th grade, pretty average, but in 12th grade we're below on the scale.
I have been many places in the United States and your education depends on where you live. Out west the education system is fairly better. I have no clue what it is but the south-east is ghetto as hell and has a poor educational system.
As for the Declaration of Independence post, children are very ignorant and don't pay attention in class. I don't feel like it's the educational system's problem because at this point kids can make their own opinions on how they feel and act. Just like wither if sagging their pants past their asses is cool.
Honestly, America has kind of gone down the drain. Panem for the win! Where is President Snow?!

I should just layout my political philosophy one giant thread. There's a lot that I have to explain. And By criminals I mean the obvious: murderers, rapists, etc. I'm not exactly keen on so called "redemption crap" either. What one person says means nothing when they have a dagger behind their back. Tje others (like burglary, theft, can work off their crimes based on the damages) Besides if you have no criminals there is no crime.

Wait, there are still people who think america is NOT on the road to ruin?
The only thing it will take for America to finally fall is for China to collect on its massive debt.
America must either annex china so they dont have to pay, or go bankrupt and then sell land to other countries to pay China.
Either way, America is going downhill fast. It doesn't help that our current president is one of the worst presidents of all time.

BS! IT IS NOT GEORGE BUSH'S FAULT! lol, why do people alwaaays blame it on George Bush. If anything he helped lessen the impact it had on us, by his tax cuts. Recessions always will happen, basic economics. HE helped lessen the effect. We had a great going in the 90s, ofc one had to come . Now, what other mistakes? If not anything, Obama made them bigger mistakes, like idk IRS TARGETING ON CONSERVATIVES! Fast and furious! Raising the debt ceiling alot, which Obama criticized Bush for. Ok, Bush did fuck up Iraq... but he couldn't just not go in, when the American people demanded, the world demanded it, and the congress demanded it, he had no choice, besides there was 9/11....

Yes we are in debt, but we dont need more money to go into schools. The prob is, we spend so much on education, but the more we spend, the less quality we get. Did you know in the 1950s we had world class education, and we spent like tons less back then, then now? But we get so much less now a days. Now yes 4th grade, and all that we have good teachers, bu you get to high school and its crap. Its retarded. Everything you learn in k to 8 is undone in high school because its CRAP! IT IS REMEDIAL! Personally speaking, its just social stuff you learn, nothing actually worth crap. GO TO COMMUNITY COLLEGE! I skipped high school and did that, now im 2 years through a bacholors and by 19 i will have a bacholors. With a Ph.D most likely by 23..... You should see Michigan all crap....

ITs not just our president its this generation. the parents dont care about the kids all they care about is the next paycheck to pay off the bills they have by spending to much on cars hairstyles ect. if the parents dont take an active part in the kids lives then the kids end up not caring and not listening. if you saked most any kid out there who invented the Cotten Gin they wouldnt know. or who invented the Telephone they would have no clue. because they dont care how we got this country to where it is. they just care about the next Iphone thats coming out. and its Eli Whitney who invented the cotten Gin and Alexander Graham Bell who invented the Telephone lol. People these days dont care about right or wrong. they just want the government to take care of them and solve their problems. well look where thats gottebn us. were over 40 trillion in debt and give wellfare to anyone who asks no questions asked. no president is perfect. Bush was far from it but he was the best we've had in awhile. Obama is just spending money like theres no end. well the end is coming for it soon trust me. Men gave their lives to protect the liberties they had. now days they would just say meh and keep texting. When the Government "shut down" how many people did it effect?. not as many as they say. only the low paid people like firefighters got on furlough so the government could say if we shut down no more fire protection. That was only to save their butts. did the high payed people get furloughed? no. and if any did they got paid for it? i mean seriously they got paid for not doing anything. i mean if every job was like that who would be working? not me. our country is going to crash soon if we dont turn it around. and it starts in each individuals house. As you can tell im Conservative to the max lol. And I remember my grandparents telling me that when a person killed another. they got the death penalty for it. good for them. they deserved it. if we had the death penalty for every person that murdered, raped and the such like this country might actually make money. cause we spend it on making them comfortable and giving them TVs and Xboxs and every comfort. its Bullcrap.
