Well, im teaching myself how to play a guitar (primarily an Electric Bass, so below i will keep a list of Songs & riff's i know) below that is the area where you make comments & do your normal spamming (because i know you cant help it).

the Bass line is very simple. Main riff is maybe a 3/10. Nothing like any Era' Thrash Metal. btw, solo maybe a tad fast for beginners. |

is there a drum n bass thread yet? eh well i had a guitar and then i tryd to play it and i failed epically so i sold its to a friend who uses it quite often now... thats my guitar experience

Well, today i was looking around on craigslist, and foudn a few things.
1. BC. Rich Black Warlock 6 String Electric Guitar:
Barely used, spent most of its life on a shelf, So it has almost no wear, and is in great shape. First set of strigns held their own as i tested it out with Master & Creeping Death. after that i decided to purchase it. Now knew these were available for 200 - 250 online, but a price of $100 i could not pass up.

2. DeltaLab DGFX1 Multi-Guitar Effects Pedal:
ive been in the market for a few pedals (overdrive, distortion, and a wah), so when i saw this thing for $50 (retails at 120), i had to take a look. it offers over 100 Pre-Programmed Setups, a wah wah pedal, and a tuner. Whats also awesome is the dual outputs, customizable presets (so unlimited tweaking, and a distortion so similar to that used on "Enter Sandman & Master of Puppets",. that for $50, i couldn't go wrong (it would have cost me about 100 just for the 3 pedals i was looking for, this gives me unlimited potential).

3. Rocktron Velocity V10 Guitar Amp:
Gotta have a decent amp, and i stopped by my local guitar shop and he offered me this one for $25 (retails at 60). built in distortion, and a great sound & range.

I also bought new strigns for my bass, Warlock, and the Acoustic of my GF's. and a few extra amp cords.
overall i am very happy with it, and i now can record some songs, so expect some upcoming stuff from me. also, i have learned a few new songs:

Well, to give you an idea of what sound the music im writing is, im going to list my top most Influential Albums to my musical inspiration.
1. Ride The Lightning - Metallica (1984)
This Album has probably become my fav as-well. Its shown almost every great part of Thrash That i love:
Aggressive Musicianship
Chromatic Scales
Deep Lyrics
Instrumentals
Lead Bass
2. Reign in Blood - Slayer (1986)
No Doubt at all that this one would be here. I spend alot of time Listening to this one. While Lacking a great Bass Sound (as with most Slayer Albums), The riff's & tempo make up for it by far.
3. Master of Puppets - Metallica (1986)
Ride the Lightning Part 2. Much heavier, probably the Best Instrumental ever, and to think, only 1 song with Swearing.
4. Among the Living - Anthrax (1987)
Their Best work as a band, and some of the greatest moshing songs ever. Also a few ballad like songs.
5. The Final Sign of Evil - Sodom (2007)
While originally it was going to be the Debut album, the record company couldn't pay for enough studio time. so only an EP of 5 songs was released. The EP was released in 1984. While This Album is Generally considered a Black Metal work, it has about a 50% mix. and the real difference was the lyrics & the content of em. 2 songs are still palyer live which shows that 1984 Metal is still Great Today.
6. Haunting the Chapel - Slayer (1984)
While Technically an EP, out of all 4 songs, 2 remain live staples, and i cant tell you how much i listen to the Title Track & Chemical Warfare.
7. ...And Justice For All - Metallica (1988)
While probably the 3rd Heaviest Album on my List, Justice is an album that should really get more live play. Long thrash, Ballads, an Instrumental, * to end it, is the infamous Dyers Eve. which Btw, im working on learning (Bloody hard due to the complexity, but no doubt i will master it some day).
8. Rust in Peace - Megadeth (1986)
Mustaine's Best work (notably he was sober), and some of the best thrash of the 90's.
9. Agent Orange - Sodom (1989)
Lyrically talking about 'Nam. It has some raw pedal to the Metal Thrash Classics. i honestly cant help but love it.
10. Hell Awaits - Slayer (1985)
This Album i hated at first. but it has grown on me alot. The riffs are more similar to Ride'. But save for maybe 1 song, i enjoy this album much more now. and it has inspirited alot of my Songs lyrically aswell.
