Hi guys.
this is probably a stupid suggestion and im not even sure if this is in the right area, but i was wondering if it would be such a bad idea if we modified some of our zombie servers. i mean ZA has about 3 zombie servers or something i was just wondering if it would b possible to have an actual CTF server. This would be great for people who are like me and enjoy both zombies and capture the flag. also both servers arent normally in use at the same time. if we had 1 zombie server replaced with a CTF to give variety it might b a worthwhile investment. it would also expand the clan to more people who prefer CTF over zombies. idk its probs a stupid idea but i just wanted to mayb suggest it. thats all.

rawr has purchased a server that we still havent decided what to put on it i think we were guna do race or something idk |

well either way i was just wandering cause in all honesty (and this is only my personal opinion) i dont think we need like 4 servers dedicated completely to zombies

I don't think it's a stupid idea and we are looking into what to do with Rawr's extra server. I've spent the last year or so playing zombies so it would be nice to add a bit of variety.

I agree to this. You will notice at around say 3am CST to 8am CST the capture the flag servers are actually full and quite popular. I guess it is the zombies of Australia? But if we decided to do so, we should make our server stand apart from everyone elses...
Edit: Btw Led we do have a classic server that we can change to whatever gametype  and Carnage and Rawr just bought servers....we have some options opening up Over the summer I may purchase one of my own, 8 bucks a month

I think its a good idea. We have four servers, and we have to leave stats, classic, and pro there, since they're always full, and alpha is adder's pet, so that one stays too. That leave's rawrs. We have a thread for that - on what to do with it. I dunno if CTF is on that poll though.

i dont care what we do with it lol... i bought the server so we could have something other then zombies xD lol an yes i would love to dedicate it to ZA but idk how to go about thatl.. slim dont rlly talk much lol |

i talk as needed. but when i work more hours then anyone here (count, 2 jobs with over 40 hours a week each), and manage all the technical and some of the personal bits of this clan, i limit my yak time on xfire  |

just put a map rotation with voting options for different maps with different gametypes like my server has. so like this:
1. Blood Gulch -- CTF
2. Timberland --Assault
3. Chillout ---Team Slayer
4. Danger Canyon -- Race
5. Carousel -- One in the Chamber
also I move this thread to the proper section.

Most of the most popular/most filled CTF servers are usually modded for example SMG, POQ, and some other 1's. The most popular CTF server is ====CTF====EXTREME====.
The reason it's the most popular it's because it's established it's self as 1 of the best servers. This is the reason people dont play other CTF servers because they are not full. Why would you join a 7/16 CTF server when you can play in a epic full server? Extreme CTF server always has people playing which is why it's so popular.
You cannot simply make a server and expect it to be full because no one has played in it.
If you really want your money's worth, I would suggest making a KingofHill/Oddball server since there is not a single server that makes that type of gametype since the death of omega oddball server.
BFM has racing.
ZA has zombies.
EXTREME CTF, SMG, POQ, have CTF.
Heather's Vagina, Beach House in Moon have Slayer.
But who has oddball,Koth? That is where you should attack and before time it will be another successfull server.

i am aware there is a classic server dudeman. however that server is not open to the public and for those who want a full CTF game it is not available. Also with the classic server you basically need an admin with you to play in it, just saying. A CTF server would be great fun. When i first started halo that was the main gametype i played. (as long as there are no banshees or scorpians) and only warthogs its a fun game. Oh and also probs best if we dont hve one of those all heavies servers lol.

It's a gametype that I think Smiley scripted for Halo.
You start with a pistol with 1 bullet - for every kill you get another bullet. It's 1 shot kill wherever you hit. You can kill by melee too. The first to a set number wins. It's often played with Elimination, where you only have a set number of deaths.
