I had an idea for the vote options on the alpha and alpha pro servers.
alot of times the maps can get repetitive from people always voting for the same maps. Or other times there are just no good maps to vote for. I think a 6th option should be added that would randomize the map. That way the game would stay interesting for all those playing. |

i like this. it'd be cool if the random map was also not one the 4 previous maps before it like how u can't vote for those maps atm.

Hate to burst your balloon but in game Chat only allows 5 lines of chat it would be impossible BUT it can still be done, you'll just have 4 maps to pick + a random one.

What do you mean red? You can have 8 lines of text on screen at once. If it's some phasor limitation I don't know about, well, you could just get rid of the 'Type a number to vote' since it's pretty self-explanatory.
Also, yes, I like this idea. Would mix things up a bit. As for Infinity... it could be done.

Infinity would ONLY be playable if we had stats cause the zombies would earn all those walking credits for running to the humans which would make zombie worth it instead of rqing. And also i think that the top part should be modded off if it happens. Would be so much fun and im sure it'd be popular.

Well, as far as a vote random, phasor only supports 5 voteable options, and none are "random" however, what i could do is make a script that either:
a. just counts the number of "votes" and compares it to the total player count, if larger select random map. (could select an option listed)
b. SCript a map vote option from scratch, would allow me to specify what maps not to consider for random, however it would take a while to script.
c. have everyone type nothing. |
