Okay. I was able to get rcon working with halo. For all the admins who will be returning at one point, you will need to put " -console " in the start path of your halo icon after the file start location. Remove quotation marks of course. Hope to see you all in-game at one point!!!!!!!!

Just by chance that I happened to come onto the site today and I'm glad I did !
My old computer packed it in recently but if I can get my old key off the hard drive I will hopefully be able to put it on my new laptop, pretty low spec so we shall see.

I would spend more time in the server trying to start games, but the automatic kicking for being afk is too annoying.

This is why there were threads regarding making a server on OTHER games, but for some reason, the nostalgia trip overtook everyone, and people decided they wanted a Halo server instead.
Perhaps a CS:GO server (a $15 game which has a zombie mod) would be more viable.

I personally think we should move on from the nostalgia, and focus on something new that'll actually keep this community alive. I don't give a fuck if your computer cannot run a suggested game for a server. You're holding the community back, therefore i've said my two cents don't get butthurt.

You should be able to login? No passwords have changed on the server or the remote viewer for you. It was down due to an ice storm in this area for a day or two only because I forgot to turn it back on after some cleaning up around the store.
I didn't expect everyone to have a nostalgia trip over the game or server. I just wanted some options. Many people have brought it up in the past and I could deliver a server that no one has to pay for. I am all for moving onto other games to keep this clan alive, though; having an original game option still available for those who want to play is always nice.

Exactly. No one ever said "instead". We just wanted something. Whether it is Halo or another game everyone can play. But that's the problem we seem to run into right? People with outdated machines that can't run many newer games? So why not have one of the best so they can still play something with other clan member's?
This wasn't an "instead" option, this was a get something started option so that maybe something greater can be gained of this. What that could be? Idk. You never know until you start to move things along.
