Need help building new computer

So I'm working on building a new computer. I want to use it for school (programming and all that) but also quite a bit of gaming as well (Halo, Team Fortress, Doom 4 possibly, rust etc) so I'd like help with ideas of what to have.
Budget's $1000 and I'd like to stick with Windows 7 because Windows 8 and 8.1 sucks.
Looking for a good processor, ton of RAM, a good hard drive, need a swell motherboard, DVD drives (maybe a floppy drive too, or just a port) and a built in router, I'd also like a dial up option too. Video cards and the like.
Any help would be appreciated.

Case can be swapped out with anything else that suits your fancy, however Fractal Design is an extremely good company. If you get another case, I recommend one from NZXT or Cooler Master.
When you say in the OP that you want a built in router, I assume you mean you want a wireless adapter, so you can use Wi-Fi. I highly recommend using a wired connection (connect your computer to your router with an ethernet cable), however if you must have a wireless adapter, you can simply search one up and get it yourself, since they are all pretty much the same.
Power supply costs a bit more than most, however EVGA is a very good PSU brand. Plus it's modular, so you don't have wires dangling around in your case. The graphics card should be capable of playing most games on ultra settings at playable frame rates (with the exception of extremely demanding games, such as Crysis 3). If you would like to play Battlefield 4, however, you can easily max out the game.
Also, I recommend not purchasing the operating system, but if you insist on it, you can pay for it, but it would go over the budget.

Also you can save more money, that you can put into other parts or just keep, by buying AMD processor and compatible motherboard.

But this processor is newer, and runs slightly better. But AMD does have a better price/performance ratio.
