Vote open to the public!
Would you like our Stats and Ranks reset in our ZA Pro Stats server?
Vote yes or no.
If a reset is voted, we will also be renaming the server to reflect the fresh start. If you voted yes, for a reset, please comment below any name suggestions (Server name must start with ZA). |

I will miss my 6.81 KDR and top 5 rank, but only problem I have now is that I couldn't see the total cR I have with @rank. And whenever I type @stats or @rank, the script will break into others not being able to type @rank or @stats anymore. I do miss the previous stats when Coco/UGK/Martyr used to be rank 1, Lunk was rank 2 and very close to Coco's rank 1, Master Wu was rank 3, I was rank 4, and tina was rank 5. I did have over a million cR that time with Colonel Grade 2, and then after the reset before the merge, I was close to Commander. But the merge messed some of the things up in the script. So my vote will be yes to the reset, but as long as the VPS Slim has would have extra memory + space for all our ranks/stats to be saved again. I also think getting rid of the CTF server, Alpha Stats, and other things that are not needed will clear out memory + space on the VPS machine.

I vote yes  people may be shocked in me saying that, lol. But I care more about having more players populating our servers, and this will be a great fresh start we need. The sooner, the better! Especially since it's winter break for kids in school.

Yes we should def reset the creds, they are out of hand and don't even reflect what ppl have actually earned at this point. Like I have 14 million credits out of nowhere. Back when we had beta it was like an 8 month race to one million credits and now that I have 14 millions thats like 10 years worth of credits which means they are kinda meaningless.
For the server I'd name it zombies with stats or something like that. I'd leave ZA out of the title completely at this point. Randoms will see that its a zombie server and we can use the ingame messages to direct them to the site.
Other clans used to kinda function like that (like the zombies no ban server being run by poq i think). I would just be sure that Zombies is in the title and thats the first word of the name.

I think the problem with a name like this is that the title doesnt mention its a zombie server at all. Back when I first joined a ZA server I joined cause it was titled like ZA alpha zombies and I was curious was zombies in halo was

I agree with Master A that would be better with "zombies" somewhere in there. But I think the "ZA" part should definitely stay. Something like "ZA Zombie Stats" or something maybe?

I think this would be a good idea to try and implement my flag idea.
Resetting the stats wil do nothing to boost the popularity..... nobody any longer cares about stats or rank tbh...... its a nice trivial extra and nothing else. |

I voted yes, but only because we don't have much else to try. I really don't see why people are or would be interested in getting cR.
A name change might help, though. I don't know ... 'Zombie Apocalypse', or is that too obvious?

The reason no one longer cares about the stats is because of how they got rest 3+ times and no one felt like it was worth working for them again. Before the stats got reset everyone cared about the rank. Merging the credits (and adding millions of random cr to ppl) should have never happened and didnt work because no one remembered or cared about their creds from 6 months in the past.
If we can reset the credits and not reset the server again then we can implement the idea that the rank is here to stay and that it is once again worth working for. A part of this is changing the name of the server to something completely new so that we can put it into peoples minds that this is a new server, with new ranks that are here to stay.
Also we all did like the flag idea its just that no one can script it and really only Smiley would be able to modify the scripts.

I'm up for a reset. It's a good way to get our servers repopulated and hopefully get old regulars back playing with us.
As for the name, I like the "Zombies with Stats" idea but maybe "Zombie Survival with Ranks" if that works.

As nice as the flag idea is, we don't have anyone to make the idea happen right now. Maybe when slim has more time and things settle down for him we can put him up to the task. For now - I think a fresh start sounds fun, even if it doesn't necessarily boost our popularity. I think it'll be fun just to try to keep link from getting so far ahead this time, LOL!
So if we do go on with the reset, I'll try to have slim do it by Dec. 22 so it will be ready for the triple credits. Also, we will start the server off with a new name and no tags for two reasons:
First: to get away from the empty ZA server stigma. It's a long shot, but it might work.
Second: to reflect the fact that we're starting fresh with stats.

I vote yes because its impossible to rank up and that makes me sad  Also, if stats were reset the server would start to do really well because people would to want to rank up and get tons of cR so that they could be better than link xD |

I agree with this, just hope it doesn't interfere with gametracker stats. Also a good name could be Zombies with ranks&stats or Zombie stats server.
