Screen Tearing. Any help?

So, I have been having problems with my screen tearing. It is getting quite annoying and if I can't fix it I may have to quit halo. I hope this does not come to this. I will post a vid to show what happens at random times. If I say this, and leave, please do not count as rq. I can't see anything 
If anyone has a fix for this that would be greatly appreciated =D

try these:
-completely uninstall and reinstall halo
-run as administrator and not as administrator and see if the problem only happens for one of them
-try to run halo on a different profile on your computer and see if it continues
-might be a graphic card error
-might have broke something with whatever you used to skin you weapons

Its either a photoshop glitch in the .dll or your graphics card is goin bad. |

Err... Screen tearing is caused by having no vsync on. If you turn vsync on then it maxes at 60fps and there shouldn't be any screen tearing. If you do use vsync and it still happens then something is deff wrong with your hardware. There is only 1 graphics card out atm that stops screen tearing while no vsync is on which is the geforce gtx titan I believe. So yea... |

Yea thats true but i watched his vid he posted and it didnt look like regular screen tearing it looked different somehow

My vsync is on. I normally play with it off but I turned it on because it made it do it less. Guess thats a fail now.
I haven't been able to re-install halo cause some stuff came up. I will do this tomorrow.

I have the most up to date version. I have an ATI, No nvidia lol. Already messed and tweaked the settings. Maybe i just need a fresh install of halo

You might want to keep an eye on your temps when playing Halo also, might be over heating etc... I can give you a link to a good program that monitors temps if you like.
I was thinking this. The reason why is because my GPU can get up to 76 degrees fahrenheit when playing. The problem is, that halo is the only game. I opened Guild Wars and played that for a bit with no problem' and I run that on Max Detail, Shadow, Etc.

(Why do you measure in fahrenheit, you old timer?)
If Google's correct, 76 fahrenheit is equal to about 24 degrees Celsius. That's very low and is absolutely fine.
A normal GPU can actually reach 70 degrees Celsius safely.
What motherboard are you using and have you updated your OS or drivers recently? (I had a graphics issue and it turned out to be an incompatibility between my BIOS and a Windows update. So a BIOS update fixed it) |

Temperature doesn't seem to be the issue. Update your BIOS or reformat computer.

I was totally wrong sorry. It says about 76 celcius when i check it after the tearing starts. And so what if I use Fahrenheit? I was raised on farsighted lol. Cery rarely use celcius.
I still ave no gotten Halo re-installed. I am making sure it's completely gone. I am going through the registry now to remove any left overs
