This is really confusing to me , I'm not saying EVERY single priest / pope is involved in molestation scandale but most are , even it not brought to the medias attention ever wonder how they only have to stand down? Instead of getting arrested so was I so I asked one of my teachers said that it's because they aren't in the American government . They have their own separate government the vadican (sorry if I spelled it wrong) so even though they will get caught no real punishment will be given to them? Do you think this is fair or no?
I vote no , they should get arrested they basically have a whole government of child molesters |

No it isn't fair, but that's the Catholic Church for you. Religion is a poweful faith that can protect even the most unholy practicioners. |

I say most because that's an estimate if the priests & popes that get caught just have to step down , think of the ones that don't get caught , like i said not all are , but i wouldn't doubt that many have not been brought to the public eye |

It's more likely to be a select few. Unless there's some gene that makes the same people who want to be priests also want to molest children.

and to say most priest are is not true the number of priest in the world is very large and the number your talking about would be low get your facts straight before you blame an entire religion for the failures of a few
