More Halo trouble

I reformated my computer today and the first thing I did was install Halo, when I opened it to play it, it said my computer didn't have enough RAM.
I am running a fresh version of Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit. Intell i3, 3.30GHz, 6Gb of Random Access Memory.
Any help on this? If I can't fix this, I can't play Halo for quite some time. |

Don't know much about RAM... I do believe Coke does though. You might want to shoot him a pm or xfire.

if its saying not enough RAM then i would probably try to use an utility which is known as disk cleanup. this will clean up your RAM. how to get there?
it will ask you which drive you want to clean up, select your drive and start the process.
when the process completes it will ask you are you sure?
select everything you want to clean up and click ok. i just select everything XD.
this will clean up everything actually
Compression of old files
Temporary Internet files
Temporary Windows file
Downloaded program files
Recycle Bin
Removal of unused applications or optional Windows components
Setup log files
Off-line files

I got Halo to run, however it looks as if I am playing in Safe Mode now. Please help.  |

I think I told you this already, if Halo isn't updated to version 1.09 it will say you don't have enough RAM when you try to run it on a 64-bit operating system because it doesn't know how to detect RAM on a 64-bit OS. You just have to click "continue anyway" and check the box saying "don't show this message again."
If you don't want to see the message anymore run haloupdate.exe in your halo installation directory.
I'm assuming this is the error message you're seeing:
Edit: To stop running Halo in safemode check target line parameters of your shortcut and remove the -safemode if it's there. Then hold control as halo starts to bring up the same dialog box you had earlier, click "continue anyway".

yeah the trial version from microsoft - i used to play a lot but now don't have a lot of time in hand to play it. pretty cool time pass though. may be if i have time in future i will get the full version
