the fictional history of ZA (with some truth)

GENESIS-
to truly know ZA, you must start from the very (VERY) beginning. In the beginning there was earth, and bungie. well, there was the doom wars (a war between hell and humans, but there really isnt much to tell other than that many veterans found themselves out of a job after we killed them all). after the doom wars, many veterans found themselves without a job, many went their seperate ways. but there were some, who were contacted by bungie. you see, after the war, earth was devestated. nearly all industry and commerce was destroyed. bungie, had decided to colonize a ring world named halo, and invited many fps veterans to join their colonies. this is how settlements such as infinity and chill out, were created. however, sometime in 2003, the halo world was open to the public, any man, woman, or child (seriously?) who could pay the fare, were taken to this world to create a new life. in summer of 2003, contact with bungie and earth was lost, only a few colonists and their children remained. things went archaic from there. random players would kill each other in games called slayer. realizing how this would affect them all, many groups organized into what would be called "clans". safety in numbers helped many to survive this new world. allowing for activities such as racing and capture the flag. my clan was made up of veterans of the doom wars. we would go around as a rogue group, taking what we wanted (sad to say) after all, most of the players we met were afterall, NOOBS. until a fateful day in 2008. zombies spawned out of nowhere (research has proven that they were created solely through a virus) killing innocent players. many fell to the blue scum. out of desperation, many organized clans to fight the zombie threat. the first to the challenge was ZWD (zombies with dyn). in the clan, the armies were well organized and were able to fight the zombies and keep their numbers low. this is how zombie clans came to be
EXODUS-
in late 2009, a certain CNR was banished from the clan by dynasty. this cnr gathered like minded individuals and set out into the wilderness. the "exiled ones" as they came to be called. struggled at first. some deserted, others killed in accidents or fights (some with ZWD or the blue menace). until they came to their ZION in this case ZA. from there, the cnr and his followers created mighty settlement. but ZWD had other plans.
1 HOUR WAR-
in winter of 2009. during one of the bitterest winters on halo ice fields. Dynasty would launch his attack. several men were to go in grenading and shooting, creating a diversion, allowing for Dyn's tanks to roll in and smash opposition. realizing the threat, Za marched out to meet the foe. bullets whistled, plasma sizzled, and cannons and artillery boomed. ZA and ZWD fell left and right. the wounded were forced to fend for themselves, as each side fought, one fought to survive the other fought for destruction. as all hope seemed lost, zombies arrived at the ZWD's right flank, infecting and killing their way through ZA and ZWD alike. realizing the threat, both clans (hating each other very much) made a shaky truce to fight the zombies. at the end of the day. a strong portion of ZWD's army had fallen, leaving only a fraction of the invasion force. realizing the za outmanned and outgunned them all. the ZWD troops fled. angry, dynasty ordered missles to be launched at the rcon. no longer would the za be able to issue orders or anything. however, secret meetings between the leaders soon produced peace and prosperity. one year later, dynasty disappeared. never to be seen again. some say he was taken by sky spirits, others say he crashed a hog and was infected. the only note was that ZWD would be led by DYN's lieutenant, Durran and his lieutenant, GRIM. while ZA grew and expanded. Durran, plotted revenge.
UNDERGROUND WAR-
in 2010, durran plotted a war. during that time, ZA patrols were ambushed and destroyed, by seemingly unkown sources. with patrols destroyed, ZA manpower dwindled to the point that za wouldnt be able to be strong enough to fight. thus creating ZA SPECIAL FORCES (they do not exsist!!!). the ZA SFS, would go around doing black ops missions, such as sabotage, assassinations, and pow rescue. durran in the meantime, created a special task force (TASK FORCE 343) to counter the ZA SFS. on one such mission, the task force 343, took a weapon (the zombie virus itself) in plans to eventually eradicate ZA. since durran knew that the UNITED CLANS (a group of clans that basically function like the UN in rl, but try to keep peace between clans and aid struggling ones) would boycott ZWD if they were to glass innocents, decided that by turning the ZAS into zombies, they'd at least be able to destroy ZA without ZA's allies in the UNITED CLANS attacking in retalliation. realizing the threat, a group of ZASFS managed to assasinate durran, unfortunately, grim survived to carry out the attack. realizing they were nearly out of time, the ZA SFS interrogated a captured higher up in new ZWG. managing to find the source, a group of ZA SFS and disgruntled ZWGS set out to stop the biohazardous missle attack. the missles were located at INFINITy (explains why a lazer beam is shot out into the sky eh?). the ZWGS realized they were attacked , but the force defending the missle silos was destroyed. infortunately, the missle still launched. a lone player managed to stop the missle strike at the cost of his life (or is he still amongst us?). with the war ended. ZAs were at last able to rest in peace. (while still killing blue zombies of course  )
and war, war never changes

Actually I'm not sure how long ZwD would have lasted. Dyna only had a passing interest in zombies and I have a feeling ZwD would have ended either way. |
