However, it assumes an all-powerful, all-loving, all-knowing God, which is full of paradoxes inherently anyway, so hardly needs refuting.
Regardless, with such a vague statement as 'God exists' you can adapt your hypothesis to dodge any questions, re-interpret the Bible when new evidence is found against your hypothesis ... etc.
why not skip the bad things and just teach us the good things?

This won't prove or disprove gods existance, but it may help you to see things from our point of view.
So what you need to do is imagine a whole new colour, i don't mean like a different shade of red or anything, i mean a whole new colour. Yes thats right you can't. However, this doesn't mean other colours do not exist it just means we can't see them..... Nor can we imagine then. But yet it would be both logical and possible other colours do exist, just they can't be decected by our eyes.
Like say we were all dogs, if i came up to you one day and said i think there is such a thing as rainbows, you wouldn't believe me, cause you wouldn't be able to see them, But they are most definitly there, so you could say we are just the dogs who are willing to believe what we can't see.
As i said doesn't prove or dis-prove just might be something to think about.............. and yeh dogs are colourblind !
