Why even say that? The 8350 is so much cheaper in price it's not even funny... Don't forget that AMD CPU's are 8 core and are probably more advanced in technology than Intel CPU's. A lot of the new games are taking advantage of the hyper threading from AMD but the software still isn't fully up to pa with AMD's technology so their is still little benefit but as technology progresses forward their will be major benefits seen... #nohate #intelfan #amdfan

I agree. If you look at the way they price their Comp's, way more than the competition and Ive seen better up'd comps lower than what Alienware charges, just a matter of where you look and how savy you are with buying comp components.

Higher numbers in cores for CPU's don't mean anything. But higher numbers in benchmark performance does.

Actually high numbers in benchmark performance scores means everything. Just because if let's say i7 3770K has 4 cores and AMD's 8350 has 8 cores doesn't mean AMD one is better. It's how the CPU performs overall in benchmark. Here look at these charts:
Do I need to show you more proof? More benchmark performances from other websites as well? It will always be the same. The i7 3770K will always out perform AMD's 8350..

I never said the 8350 was better, for certain things it is, yes, but again if you had read what I said properly we wouldn't be having this discussion. If you watch enough videos about the AMD 8 core processors then you will see what I am talking about. Don't get me wrong, I like Intel... Think about this, Intel as of this date isn't using 8 core processors. The most cores their latest processors have is 6. Why? Why not 8? Because the technology is not that far advanced for 8 cores to be of any use... If this isn't true then they would of stuck with single/dual core processors, right? Intel make a lot of great stuff like ssd's etc. Yes, the i7 3770k will always out perform the fx-8350, but why are you comparing it to that? Like I said earlier, it is a lot cheaper and more along the lines of an i5 3570k. If you go onto the linus tech tips channel then you will see he has done performance tests between these two. Their are 4 parts and if you haven't already seen them then you should watch them. Anyway, this is about stunt getting advice for a new PC, so lets just leave it here? |
