The mods would have to get rid of snipers, for one, there's just too much space for a zombie to get in close when they have to contend against even one sniper - pair that with a bunch of bored humans who are fighting over 4 zombies for credits? Impossible. Without snipers, no one would vote for that map anyway. I don't see it working any way you slice it.

Super Admin Posts: 2582 Joined: 21.07.11	one must remember that stats is wayy diff from our alpha server and many things have changed. The zombies now have camo and aren't in plain sight. With the major camping spots modded off (Tops of bridges, pipes, and base tops) the map would be no diff from other large maps. The zombies would not spawn at blue base over and over again due to the slayer spawns, they would actually spawn even at the base the humans are at. Even if a zombie spawns a distance away the running creds make up for it. Since Huggy has said he can mod out the camp parts it wouldn't put any more work on Slim. The new map would add some more flavor to the stats server and I believe make it more popular. I don't think the map will be perfect, no, and idk if it would even work out. But i don't see the harm in testing it and seeing if times have changed enough to bring it back if it doesn't work out oh well Edited by MasterA on 06/27/2012 16:37:52

Keep in mind though, Infinity is a big map. And there are more GOOD camping areas than the ones MasterA mentioned. Especially when the humans work together to camp an area. And teamwork is not a problem for the current players in our servers. But as stated, it won't be perfect.

And it's not a different Infinity. Blocking off a few camping areas will not make much of a difference. If you can convince Slim to take on yet another superfluous addition to our already impressive arsenal of servers and gametypes, then more power to ya. But like I said, it's not going to work the way you envision it, and aside from that, I really don't want to ram anything else down Slim's throat at the moment. Whether you don't see it, or simply refuse to acknowledge it, I don't know, but Slim's doing enough for us right now.
