Ah but Star, His Dark Materials is three (awesome) books, plural. I mean, the entire Harry Potter series is 4100 pages (US editions).

Actually I purchased a single book with all three volumes in it - so they were bound into a single book which I read as one book.

Hmm, I read Harry Potter Half Blood Prince (Book 6)
In the British format in 18 hours, no sleeping from start to finsih ( I was in Germany when the book released so I thought id get a copy)
Although the longest book i think i've read was
Star by Star- by Troy Denning
If you know/have read that book hats off to ya.

Lol I'm a very smart, just not good when it comes to vocabulary or grammar.
So Harry Potter was easy read for me 
But I haven't picked up a novel in 2 years.
