Ah, yes, the code makes more sense now.
[ZÅ]ninja: We had One in the Chamber, Dodgeball, SWAT, SafeHavens, SaveOneBullet, and Zombies!

I want these.
your forgot Bunkers. That game was halarious. I forgot how safe heavens worked though, the rest were fun.
Now that you established yourself as the dominint halo clan, I'm sure you can put that server up again, and expect it to be full. |

I don't remember bunkers.
Safe Havens was a bit like panic in the KOTH boundaries, effectively. You couldn't be killed, as a human, whilst in the Safe Haven - the zombies would have to try to get you in transit from one Haven to the next. At least, that's what I remember it to be.

bunkers = safe heavens then, because that is how exactly bunkers used to be played. Safe heavens was the shit then! |

Yes a mix of everything would be cool.
The following are played as Team Slayer, or FFA Slayer:
One in the Chamber
You start off with 1 bullet on every re-spawn. For every kill (including melee), you get another bullet. It's usually played on the 'Elimination' game type, in which you are limited to a certain number of deaths, say 3. The last man standing wins.
Dodgeball
You have no ammo. You start off with 1 plasma grenade on every re-spawn. The plasma grenades only explode when stuck to people. I can't remember, but I think melee worked and when you killed someone, they dropped a plasma grenade. It was either Elimination, as above, or first to a set number of kills.
SWAT
This is effectively pistol slayer. No shields, no power-ups, no grenades. You have unlimited pistol ammo, headshots are instant kills. Elimination or score limit.
Played on Team Slayer:
Domination
Teams start off balanced. If you kill someone, they are switched to your team and start playing for your team. For example if I'm red and kill Shawn who is on blue team, he is switched to the red team and starts fighting for red. When every player is on the same team, that team wins.
The following are played on Team Slayer / CTF (I can't remember):
Safe Havens / Bunkers
Safe Havens was a bit like panic in the KOTH boundaries, effectively. You couldn't be killed, as a human, whilst in the Safe Haven - the zombies would have to try to get you in transit from one Haven to the next. At least, that's what I remember it to be.
Save One Bullet
This was a zombies variant game type. Camping was allowed. Like with One in the Chamber, you got another bullet for each kill. However, you started off with a normal amount of ammo. Zombies meleed, LMS won.
Zombies
Camping wasn't allowed until half, using a script that detected players' displacement. Otherwise, very similar to our current zombies script.
P.S. Some of the scripts are here: http://phasor.pro...;thread=22. I have copies of the others, I think. Some might be buggy, as I'm not sure whether they'd been fully tested.

thanks for clearing that up. i was familiar with domination but that was about all.
and those all sound pretty awsome although like i said having a mix of both those modded gametypes and a cycle through of normal gametypes would b good.

I don't know how to do anything server-side, and don't really have the time to work it out at the moment. I can probably try to help in the summer.
Perhaps you could contact someone who has experience in running a server - Slimjim, or Red ... I don't know whether Raz ever figured it out?
