Hey everyone, Rawr texted me to tell ZA that her computer fried.
Lol idk what it means but it sounds funny xD I'm guessing she can't use it. |

Technically, a 'fried computer' is just a computer that's burnt out, either in terms of a capacitor actually frying or areas of a chipboard literally burning.
So it means that either RawR didn't have enough cooling or didn't have a good enough power supply.
As a result, her computer's probably wrecked, yeah. Though it could only be one component that's 'fried' as long as she hasn't been using the broken component in the computer for too long.
But anyway, not really funny. It means she has to buy a new computer :/

Hopefully it wasn't through a power surge. I've seen pictures of comps that have fried during storms. It's ridiculous.

Gaming PC without a better cooling system can of course either cause it to fry or overheat. The average temperature of inside a computer is about 30 to 40 degrees Celsius. If you intend to game or have many software/apps opened, then the temperature will intend to rise. With a good liquid cooling system, it can help prevent from doing this and keeping the temperature at a low/stable rate. Always trust in liquid cooling to get the job done.

This probably happened. Happened to my mum's computer 3 times over a year, bought a surge protector and it still fucked it...

Is your PC even liquid cooled? Also their are some real high end air coolers that outperform some liquid coolers, but liquid is best obv unless you have some huge dyno fan or something... But then it will be loud as fuck so doubt it... Doesn't Rawr pretty much only play Halo? If so then air is fine, as long as it is all functioning correctly... |

Then use your lazy ass to work and save enough money to buy yourself a good rig in order for better Framerate in old, current, and upcoming games.

Don't be. Trust me, as long as you're buy a gaming PC with enough fans/coolers, you don't have to worry about it frying and overheating. And also making sure to clean the dusts inside of it about every 6 months, if it gets dusty.

Yes, I do have a liquid cooling gaming PC. And no, my PC doesn't make any loud ass sounds. It's completely silent, even when putting my ears close to the tower case. (Overall, my rig cost $2500 during the time I built it, aka in 2011.) Also thinking about upgrading soon to the latest Haswell i7 CPU and GTX 780 graphics card.

I know, and I would definitely get the 2 GTX 770's in SLI mode instead of waiting on AMD's new shitty HD 8000 series. I was not amused of the shitty AMD driver upgrades that I had to deal with for my current HD 7970. So I'm switching over to Nvidia from now on and screw AMD. It's kind of like Microsoft vs Sony where Microsoft failed so hard on their new Xbox One console and Sony just dominated them with their Playstation 4.
P.S: Notice how long it's taking AMD to release their brand new HD 8970? They are probably doing a lot of tests to it and trying their hardest/best to make it better than the GTX 780, but most likely failing which is causing them this long wait for a release.
